MiP (4927), Flensburg, Germany Jul 28, 2007 Bottle, 5.5%. Fruity aroma, a little unpleasant. Hazy, but shiny golden colour. Small white head. The flavour is strangely vinous and a little fruity. Some old bread in the aftertaste. Reminds me a little of white wine, or perhaps champagne yeast. But not too successful, IMO. bierkoning (4691), La Tropica, Netherlands Jan 18, 2007 Bottle. This beer is miscalled Witte, because it is indeed a Belgian type blonde ale. Pinkish blonde color. Touches of yeast and raspberry in the aroma. Veggies (celery) and raspberry in the flavor. Hint of tartness. Just a tad thin. Amateuristically brewed beer, but not too bad. jbrus (4095), Delft, Netherlands Nov 16, 2006 Bottled. Fruity and yeasty aroma. Hazy, amber/brown color, beige head, fair lace. Light sweet, fruity, figues?, astringent, raisin, caramel, burns in my throat. Belgian Ale although called Witte.
