MiP (6029), Flensburg, Germany Dec 14, 2005 Cloudy dark golden colour. Bready aroma. Flavour is also bready and seems a little oxidized. Ungstrup (11408), Frederiksberg, Denmark Dec 9, 2005 A hazy orange beer with a huge white head. The aroma has strong notes of citrus and dust, while the flavor is sweet with notes of yeast, spices, citrus, as well as some dust - which I believe is from the hops. madsberg (4374), Bangalore, India Dec 3, 2005 Bottled: Golden coloured. Unclear. Dense beige head. Sweet, yeasty, fruity aroma with a dash of alcohol to spice up the nose. Flavour is spiced and has some fruity accents. Is quite thin and a bit over the top. Smooth and creamy mouthfeel. Quite nice. Papsoe (10580), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 30, 2005 Updated: Jun 13, 2005(Bottle 25 cl) Steen and I found this in a dusty box at the stockroom, when we visited Deca last July. (Deca is a bit of a peculiar mix between a microbrewery and liquorstore) This is quite a few years old and is no longer produced. However, it’s quite lively in the glass, with a tall living head on top of an onrange-golden beer with sediments in the bottle. Smells a bit sour and unpleasant. The flavor however is primarily bitter on a quite light body. 250904 bierkoning (4943), La Tropica, Netherlands Nov 26, 2003 Caramel and vinous "chardonnay" aroma. and flavor. Sherry flavor coming up. Fruity (apple) and bitter aftertaste. This beer is in fact a bit too old, but the flavor is OK and the lacing is satisfying.
