armando629 (427), Budapest, Hungary Jul 2, 2008 I bought it in a Lidl, Budapest. I can’t understand the name...Pale yellow appearance with a small head. Nose is moderated pale malt, some yeast. Empty body with some straw, grass, minimal yeastly and hop taste. Boring lager.
ogivlado (2381), Zagreb, Croatia Sep 26, 2008 Canned(500ml). -From Lidl in Nagykanizsa, Hungary.
Pale golden coloured, small airy white head, weak grainy nose. Lively carbonation. Weak malty, bready, buttery and watery with salty notes in the finish. At least it’s better than similar Hungarian supermarket beers (don’t worry, not so much). heavy (503), Split, Croatia Aug 9, 2008 05/08 0.5 l can from Lidl @ BTC. Ljubljana. We have Deep in Lidl Croatia so it was funny to see Deeps around. So stupid name... Anyway, poured golden body with medium head that lives short. Aroma of industrial malt and some grassy lemon hops. Flavor is generaly not bad, slightly sweetish, even a bit buttery but so thin you can’t believe. Low carbonation. Finish...none. And sure, it’s not bitter at all as it says on the can :) Doggythedog (1018), Split, Croatia Aug 6, 2008 Can courtesy of and shared with heavy who brought it from Slovenia (thanks!) They gots them Deeps in Poland too. And Slovenia. And Hungary. Poor sods. Dull gold body, big white head that went away relatively fast. Sweetish, slightly buttery and yoghurty nose. Mkay. Touch oily too. Odd swet yoghurty taste, weak weak hop, papery malt. Some random appley sweetness. Bitter lager? Yeah the fact that they have that written on the can is possibly the funniest and the only interesting thing about this. No, it’s not bitter at all. Quack-Duck (1825), Bodensee, Germany Aug 4, 2008 can, LIDL Písek. Pale yellow colour, creamy medium-sized head. Thin malty nose. Very thin-bodied, tastes watery and only slightly beery. sir_Pino (589), Zawiercie / Żywiec, Poland Aug 2, 2008 Updated: Sep 3, 2008No 450

Can, 500 ml
Appearance: Pours pale gold, yellowish and perfectly clear body texture, carbonation of the body is mild, head is initially small and decreasing to thin, rather foamy, white, rather no lacing.
Aroma: Gentle clean hoppy - fresh on top with a little accent of yeasts, some grainy accidity is also quite dominating as one of the components. Rather plain and simple but nice for such a Pale Lager - light style beer.
Flavour: Very wattery mouthfeel, dominating accidity like from brewing cereal, pale malted barley grains, watered down beer, practically no hops and poor aromatic profile, no bitterness again instead of it this focused accidity of poor origin. Tastes like mineral water mixed with wattery beer. Finish duration is short.
Palate: Body is light, texture is wattery, carbonation on palate is soft, finish feel is wattery, flat, natural without alcoholic accents, maybe some bitter accidic nose.
