On cask at gingerman. Pours a dark body with a tan head. Aroma is we paper bag some chocolate malt. Flavor is very disappointing. Prob my least favorite from the day. Light malt but it just tasted wrong.

On tap Very dark reddish color with a big tan head. Very rich fruity caramel aroma and a taste that is pretty much the same. Hints of dark fruit. Full body without being oily. Fruity sweet finish, not candy like at all.

Listed as Vunder Bock on cask at Spuyten Duyvil. Very cloudy/muddy brew with a creamy tan head. Pretty ugly looking really. Aroma is a bit off... slightly oxidized/papery aroma along with dank wet straw and what I assume were the remnants of the original malts, which were sweet and bready. Light hazelnut aroma and a touch of mint as well. The palate is quite watery, which is unusual for cask beer. Soft herbal/minty flavour. Light acidity on the back, but there are too many flaws to really recommend this.

Had this one last week, and again the other night, on tap at the brewery. Poured a beautiful darker brown with a lasting tan head. Flavor was of all things good in a Bock. Ssslight smokey undertone, yet for the most part this is a malty brew with enough hops to keep it from being sweet. Great mouthfeel. Very nice execution of a style most brewers don’t get.

On cask at Blind Tiger. Ugly, murky brown pour, no head. Aroma was sorely lacking (though I may blame that partly on the mug they served this to me in... wtf?). A little bit of sweet veggies and flowers, perhaps. Flavor was a yucky mess, a conglomeration of bubblegum, brussel sprouts, and seriously like some kind of steak marinade flavor, but very thin all across the board. Very drinkable I guess, but why would you want to drink it? Not good at all.
