Commercial Description:
A Bohemian style Pils, Lagered for a smooth ester free brew. Brewedwith German Moravian BArley and Czech hops, this Lager definately doesn't taste like it came from a can.

served out of a corny keg purchased at the brewery. lightly hazy pale yellow in color with a medium off white head. Aroma is citrus and floral hops, that mix well with light yeast and pils malt. Taste is lightly fruity, citrus, floral, with sweet pils malt. A light amount of bitterness in the finish. very good.

My Bottom Line:
Spicy hop nobility proffers its delicate citrusy jewels to the straw-hat-wearing, proud malt peasants. A well-crafted soft pils, this is.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam sets into the hazy pale yellow.
-Hop flavor moves into grassiness as well, a fine match for the hay/straw maltiness.
-Light sulphur is perceivable, fitting nicely with the flavor profile.
-A milky cereal sweetness softened up and balanced out the savvy hoppiness.

On tap at Tap NY.

Enjoyed at the brewery with the Defiant crew. Smells like freshly cut grass and looked like liquid dandellions. Ironic, considering this is what folks might call lawnmower beer. I had this one while it was still lagering, which explains the slightly sweet taste, but it was still highly drinkable and paired nicely with the pizza I was enjoying. We all noted that as this beer ages (for about another week) it will loose some of the grassy aroma and gain a much dryer and hoppier profile. I can’t wait!

A well made Pilsner. Yellow with white head. Up front noble hop aroma is complimented by some malt character. The flavor has a very soft malt with minimal bitterness, no where near as sharp as a German Pilsner.
