argo0 (6230), Washington DC, USA Jul 8, 2007 (750ml bottle, thanks jasonp) Small white ehad atop hazy lemon body. Aroma is medium sweet, orange, some floral, cobweb, sourness (lemon). Taste is medium sweet, orange/lemon, faint clove. Light dryness in finish. Soft medium body. hopdog (4648), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 8, 2007 750ml bottle acquired in trade with Lou18 (thanks!). Poured a medium and cloudy golden color with a large sized, bubbly white head. Aromas of yeast, fruity (bananas, apples and pears), lemons, candi sugar and spices. My 4 year old said it smelled like lemon pears and she was right. Tastes of fruits (apples and pears), yeast an dlight spices. Dry and clean finish. For me, the body was too fizzy and over carbonated. DocLock (4170), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 27, 2007 Bottle from Lou18 as part of Mystery Swap 2.0. Turbid morning urine yellow color with 1-finger, fizzy, quickly dissipating head. Aroma of candi sugar, pale malt, apricot, honey, some funky spices, and some floral notes. Medium palate with tastes of citrus, coriander, lemon zest, candi sugar, pale malt. It smelled more like a saison/tripel mix, but tasted like a very spicy, floral witbier. More flavor complexity as more of the sediment arrived in the glass. A true hybrid stylewise, but a true original as an interesting, complex beer. Eyedrinkale (3111), Beer Town, New York, USA Nov 24, 2007 Updated: Nov 27, 2007Bottle at brewpub. Gold with a tiny head. Not as funky as the Farmhouse, and slightly tart a d sour. There’s a metallic off flavor that tastes like a mouthful of nickels. egajdzis (3021), Terrapin, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 16, 2007 Updated: Nov 25, 2007Poured a hazy, golden color with a medium sized, white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of vanilla, tropical fruit, some banana, toffee malts, light spices, and bread. Taste of citrus fruits, toffee malts, bread, some earth, with vanilla, and a touch of alcohol in the finish.
