Pours a hazy amber with an average sized white head. Nose is sweet and sour and yeasty. Wow, this starts sweet, then a little sour fruitness kicks in, some apples and apricot and it finishes sweet just like it started. A little pepper in the aftertaste. Body is medium/full. Carbonation is moderate. I don’t care much for this style but this is actually not bad at all. haukur (684), Reykjavik, Iceland
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | May 26, 2007 One of the best american triples I´ve had, if not the best! Perfectly balanced, perfect sweetness, perfect carbonation. Much more genuine than the most american triples, subtle citrus and a pleasant finish. Golden yellow, little hazy, even after 3 months in the keg it has never totally cleared up, Although the aging has helped it quite a bit. Big tight white head. Long lasting. Warm spicy pepper feeling. Not alcoholic at all. Medium body. Finishes to the dry side, Can’t wait till teh next batch comes out. TURDFERGUSON (1606), Carrboro, North Carolina, USA

Thanks dude! Pour is a hazy, yellow golden with a small white head. Nose is yeasty, spicey, earthy, and fruity. Flavor is very smooth with some citrus, banana, floral, spices, and yeast. A refreshing tripel with hardly any alcohol noted. Definitely different than most tripels I have tried, but in a good way. Cletus (5058), Connecticut, USA

Smells grassy with some oranges, lemons, bananas and yeast. Tastes of oranges, pilsner malt, wild flowers, pepper and touches of sugar. Mouthfeel is citrussy with a sweet finish. hokiebeerguy (21), USA

Yellowy-gold in color...soft palate and honeyish start, with a typical tripel finish. Great effort by the brewer, and would recommend this beer to try if you get the chance. | 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 12, 2007 Thanks to Dickinsonbeer for this one, hand bottled. Hazy deep golden pour with 1-finger white head. Aroma of grainy pale malt, candi sugar, apricot, funky yeast, spice, and orange marmalade. Tastes pale malty and candi sugary, with hints of apricot, floral dryness, funky yeast, spices. The palate is medium heft, very carbonated, and it gets even more citrusy and apricotty as it warms, with the candi sugar coming out more as well as the florals. Very unique, as it tasted different with every sip.
