Jul 7, 2007 Vom fass at the brewery/biergarten 17 Jun 07. Dark golden coloured. A "normal" wheat beer head that stabilized. Cloudy. Faint citric aroma. A fruity wheat beer with a sweet aftertaste. An OK wheat beer on a warm day.
Rune (1839), Tromsø, Norway
Jul 6, 2007 500ml on tap at the biergarten, Weissbräu, Deisenhofen. Pours a hazy, amber coloured body with some lasting foam and lacing. Light wheat aroma with citrus tartness. Wheat-based character supported by prominent cloves and caramel sweetnes. Banana hints towards the ending. Fairly flavourful hausgebrautes weissbier, though a bit too sweet (17.06.2007).
