Very sweet, cherry juice and candy, soft mouthfeel. As a lambic not so great but the flavors aren’t bad. Are we sure this isn’t brewed at Belle-Vue? sunevdj (1785), Copenhagen OE, Denmark

Sweet with lots of almond and marzipan. Mild sourness. Lots of sweetness with the cherries. Reminds me a bit of a good version of a Cherry Coke. Low carbonation. Very good. joergen (8634), Frederiksberg, Denmark

Fresh aroma of cherries of near schaerbeekse quality. Too sweet with rich cherry flavour. There’s plenty of almonds and glue as weell, and the acidity cannot balance the sweetness. The aroma is lovely, but after that it takes a wrong turn. Jeppe (2638), Ølbutikken, Denmark
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | May 3, 2006 Pours deep red and a frothy pink head. Sweet cherry pie aroma, not bad but lacks some sourness. Overly sweet cherry flavor as well, rather thin mouth. Commercial and boring.
Very strong cherry notes in the nose and tjroughout the beer. Subdued acidity. Very succesful compromise between a classical kriek and the very commercial, sweetened krieks. 190698 Ernest (4509), Boulder, Colorado, USA
