Head is mostly diminishing.
Body is dark amber.
Aroma is moderately malty (toasted bread, cookie), lightly hoppy (flowers, apricot).
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter.
Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.
Surprisingly good for what it is; clean and juicy nose is the standout, but overall it’s quite drinkable. RSRIZZO (945), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Nov 15, 2007 Had this beer at the All Colorado Beer Fest on 11/10/2007. Aroma is faint with some malt tones. Color is a golden amber with ok carbonation and a good head. Taste comes in on a light body with a nice sweet malt flavor and mild bitterness. I think this is the best Mexican-style beer I can remember having. BeerandBlues2 (2379), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Nov 11, 2007 Draught at All Colorado Beer Festival. Pours clear amber with an average, frothy, off-white head, lasting with good lacing. Aroma is average malt (toasted grain, meal), light hops (grass), average yeast (sweat) with notes of apple.
