| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 13, 2009 Copper colored ale with a decent slightly off-white head. Lots and lots of citrus in this one with very little malt backbone. Somehow fails at being bitter. Still tasty. Bockyhorsey (2515), Mesa, Arizona, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 12, 2006 On tap at Delafield Brewhaus. Poured clear lighter amber with a couple fingers worth of dense beige head. Nose picked up pine and herbal bitterness, sweet toffee, and some alcohol. Heavy bitter pine and alcohol give the first flavor impression.. sweet middle with pine tar, honey, and other malts. Medium-bodied and syrupy at times... felt OK on the palate. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Jul 15, 2005 On cask. Wishy-washy, dull and muted orange in color with a foamy grey head that’s pocked with large bubbles. Aroma is oak vats recently expunged of their charge of maple syrup, with other contributors resembling golf turf and lilies. Bitter presence settles in early but it’s not well defined. Most other elements are glossed over, but such is the risk when cask conditioning. Lemony/pine residual effects near the end. Sort of a pils musk that’s been inappropriately captured. I prefer their APA. TheDean (785), MIlwaukee, Wisconsin, USA
