Bangal Bay IPA, cask conditioned: Huge fresh hop nose floats above the clear golden body with a lacey head. Sweet malty body with woody character and a very dry bitter finish. A pretty good IPA.

On draught at the Delafield Brewhaus in Delafield, Wisconsin. Pours a clear golden amber brew with a thick off-white head that slowly dissipates with good retention and nice lacing. Aroma of grapefruit and tangerine with golden and munich malt and a hint of pine. Taste is medium bodied, with flavors of orange and grapefruit, a hint of honey, multi-grain malt and even a hint of cola. Finish is a will thick texture with a mild lingering bitterness and aftertaste of sweet citrus.

On tap at Delafield Brewhaus. Poured clear lighter amber with a couple fingers worth of dense beige head. Nose picked up pine and herbal bitterness, sweet toffee, and some alcohol. Heavy bitter pine and alcohol give the first flavor impression.. sweet middle with pine tar, honey, and other malts. Medium-bodied and syrupy at times... felt OK on the palate.

Cask. Dark orange color with a medium head. Lots of hops in the aroma. Powerful hop blast in the taste with some orange rounding it out. Not as dry as you’d expect with all the bitterness. Semi-creamy. Nice!

Was very murky on pull, but then settled out nicely to a light hazy copper color. Eggshell white head that’s foamy, thick, and fully lasting. Excellent lacing. Strawberry and cascade hops. Caskiness. The flavor reminds me more of amarillo and centennial hops. Smooth oaky backbone. The palate is slick watery and yet still has a medium mouthfeel.

On tap at Delafield Brewhaus. Good pine and floral aromas. Daeker copper body with off white head and lacing covered entire pint glass. Texture medium bodied and good citrus flavor with some dry bittering going on. Not cool and crisp but decent IPA refreshment.
