10 oz draught at the brewpub, early August 2006. Medium amber hue with a smallish off-white smooth head....grassy, slightly pungent aroma, dry English hops dominate but a bit of citric PNW character shows through as well....fairly bitter throughout, juicy and fruity though, with a dry, tingly, bitter and woody finish...could have a fuller malt profile, but not bad.

On tap at the Brewhaus. Poured a deep dirty amber with a short cap of beige head. The nose was primarily of caramel and earthy hops... bit of an English feel to it. Smooth caramel and mildly bitter earth in the flavor... powerfully decent. Felt pretty good on the palate, but nothing memorable. This had some substance behind it... and was quite easy to drink. Would make a nice session brew.

Tap at Brewhouse. A sweet aroma of fruit. Dark Golden body somewhat hazy with small head. Flavor had a decent mix of bitter and sweet notes. Smooth on the palate. Lefeaves a somewhat dry bitterness on the palate.

On tap at the Delafield Brew Pub. Poured a deep orange color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of floral, lightly earthy and some toffee. Tastes of caramel and oranges. I found this one to have a nice balance and was very drinkable.

Aroma was carmelly malt, some grainey hops, hmm, something going on in the taste, the malt was less carmel and more a harsh hop ,and there was a thinness to it that brought out this slightly disagreeable harshness even more. It went ok with my rib sampler, but I would find it hard to recommend it

Copper to brown in color with a modest taupe colored head. Decent lace through the session. Light caramel and just a touch of earthy hops in the aroma. Mild floor malt flavors mix with a touch of citric hops. As in the aroma, things seem a bit earthy and slightly unclean. Still a full ale. I could envision a afternoon wasted with this one. Somewhat simple, yet enough going on to not let it get too boring.
