This growler was placed at the front main table with no name of the guest who donated it. Pours a clear pale golden brew (like apple juice), with a fast dissolving white head that leaves behind no lacing or ring. Aroma of sweet spiced fruit, honey and a touch of caramel. Tasts is light bodied, multi-grain cereal, some fruit and flowery hops. Finish is sweet, smooth and a light caramel aftertaste. ElGaucho (1730), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA

I’ve never had horse piss before, but this is what I would imagine it would taste like. Bad breath finish. Palate a little flat. It is frustrating that most brewpubs don’t know how to properly fill a growler. Town Hall does it in such a way to maximize the freshness and use a plastic seal on the top to prevent oxidation. By not properly filling growlers, brewers do themselves, and their beers a disservice. argo0 (6987), Washington DC, USA
