Flavor was a mild sweet malty somewhat watery body. Had this beer with dinner and provided decent wash for that purpose. biermensch (64), USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 24, 2006 On tap. This year’s model is light golden, with mild, sweet aroma. The flavor is surprising in the boldness of the malt, the warming alcohol, and the decent, true-to-style hop balance. The Maibock would probably pair well with a decent bratwurst (not to be confused with the brat I ate here). hopdog (5581), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 11, 2005 On tap at the Delafield Brewhaus. Poured a lighter golden color with a smalled sized white head. Aromas and tastes of light alcohol (stronger in the aroma) and sweet malts. Looks are a little decieving as I found this one to be one of the better tasting beers I had there tonight. TheDean (785), MIlwaukee, Wisconsin, USA

Smells of some sweet malt and light fruits w/ a touch doughy. Palate is full bodied mildly carbonated and well coating. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 23, 2005 Transparent gold in color with a creamy, lasting white head. Aroma is caramel malts, pepper and cinnamon. Flavor is smooth and rich, exhibiting the traditional blonde bock characteristics. Some peppery spicing with chewy, sweet malts. Vanilla and cedar manifest on the backend. Much creamier than expected. Malts, baby, malts! Yet, enough hops to contribute to a slightly bitter aftertaste. Well done.
