Transparent gold in color with a creamy, lasting white head. Aroma is caramel malts, pepper and cinnamon. Flavor is smooth and rich, exhibiting the traditional blonde bock characteristics. Some peppery spicing with chewy, sweet malts. Vanilla and cedar manifest on the backend. Much creamier than expected. Malts, baby, malts! Yet, enough hops to contribute to a slightly bitter aftertaste. Well done.

On tap. This year’s model is light golden, with mild, sweet aroma. The flavor is surprising in the boldness of the malt, the warming alcohol, and the decent, true-to-style hop balance. The Maibock would probably pair well with a decent bratwurst (not to be confused with the brat I ate here).

pours a nice golden color w/ a well laced fluffy white head. Smells of some sweet malt and light fruits w/ a touch doughy. Palate is full bodied mildly carbonated and well coating. Flavor is a light sweet malt full of light fruits pears and peaches I think w/ a lightly dry bitter finish. overall pretty good.

Good amber golden color with a nice fluffy head. Sweet and floral with a hint of apple in the aroma. They used just enough hops in this one to prevent it from being an overly syrupy sweet mess. Some citrus, grass, caramel, toffee, and apple juice. I can dig it.

Light golden color with a sweet malty, grainy body. Very smooth and robust with decent balance and good bock flavor.

"Lighter" amber color, frothy white head that fades quickly. Fruity chardonnay with light hop bitterness, green grapes, and a dry grainy finish.
