Deep gold, still and leaving decent legs on the glass. Everything is well displayed in line here. The acidity emanates right off the gate along with the sweet Cortlands. It is sweet and thick, but not exagerated, impressing with its crisp acidity that almost amplifies the desserty notions. Very long aftertaste, fleshy, juicy and softly hinting at minerals which somehow work well here. A parallel floral dimension also contributes a sense of serenity to this charming example. Almost a refreshing ice cider, juicy and porous.

2008-04-04. Crisp golden yellow body coasts the glass. (3+) Sweet mild aroma of apple sauce, fresh apples. (7+) Similar flavour, sweet, lightly sugary, modest fruit apples, apple cores and very light notes of skins. Smooth syrupy medium palate. Not super complex, but quite nice and rather drinkable which is not true of some other ice ciders. <i>Bottle generously shared by Tupalev, which I appreciatively repaid by shattering the glass on the floor. Doh! </i>

Bottle, 375ml, from a Montreal SAQ. My bottle, shared with Jerc and Mabel. Golden yellow, no head. Nice apple aroma - very tart, very fresh. Taste is very sweet apple, rich, very drinkable despite alcohol presence. Very good.
