Ungstrup (11713), Frederiksberg, Denmark Feb 14, 2006 An orange beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is spicy with light notes of coriander, as well as fruity notes of oranges, on a slightly acidic back ground. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of oranges, leading to a dry spice end. Papsoe (11076), Frederiksberg, Denmark Nov 21, 2006 (Bottle 34,1 cl) Pours a hazy golden with a creamy, white head. Aroma of yeast and sulphur. Full-bodied with plenty of fruit and malt and then again this not so pleasant sulphurous character. Not really any great example of a Belgian style ale. 120206 Oakes (7032), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Oct 23, 2005 Ugly as sin - dull blonde colour with lots of haze. Dusty, slightly spicy yeast aroma. The flavour is very estery, with a distinctively peachy yeast note. Sublte spice and fairly firm underlying maltiness, plus dusty yeast. Sweet. Comes across like a fairly unique free interpretation of a tripel. joergen (6821), Frederiksberg, Denmark Feb 13, 2006 Bottle.
Cloudy golden coloured with a white head.
Sweet aroma of malts, fruits and spices.
Sweet fruity flavour with notes of spices. fiulijn (6010), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Feb 18, 2006 Cloudy blond color, big head. Sweet and spicy aroma; Quite harsh mouthfeel; similar to a Grand Cru (therefore spicy), with some bitter-citrus notes. Too bitter final. Good aroma, but the taste is not convincing.
