Lilith (242), Santiago, Chile May 24, 2006 Draft Clear amber color with few and slow bubbles going up the glass. Small white creamy head that dimishes quickly, leaving a good lacing and filming. The aroma is overall timid, with hints of citrus, fruits, grains and slightly hoppy. Its flavor is that of the typical Chilean microbrew cask ale hopps but with an interesting perfume/herbs finish. Ligh to medium body and a chalky aftertaste Panzerfaust (377), Santiago, Chile May 24, 2006 Draft:
Shows a hazy light amber color with one finger of a white, creamy and stable head that diminishes rather quickly. It presents a good lacing.
Aroma of cascade hops, typical of chilean micros. I expected something different but at least it’s clean. Very citrusy and with notes of pine spruce and resin. There’s a little of a cereally background that comes from the malt.
Flavor is citrusy sour with touches of lemon and a little of barley grainy traces. There’s a tart and unbalanced yeasty thing though. Maybe some defect in the brewing process?. Slightly hopped.
Body is medium and fine for a lager. Nice texture, it dissolves gently in the mouth. Finish is abrupt. This is mostly a thirst quencher. Quaffable but not very good....
