Sweet prune/ raisin taste and smell. Like bacon wrapped dates- would be great with applesauce and porkchops, maybe with bar-b-que ribs. I like this a lot, sweet and spicy.

On Tap. Dark brown color. Spicy and fruity with a surprising after taste. Really intersting and complex flavor.

had this last night. dark brown in color, a bit carbonated, no head. aroma was uninteresting, but ok. flavor was of wood and carmelized sugar. there was some yucky flavor on the back end that stuck around, which is the same distasteful flavor that has always stopped me from liking this beer.

Pours a dark amber brown with a fairly small off-white head. Aroma mostly of fruits, caramel, chocolate, and malts. Flavour is a bit nutty and malty. Overall quite taste.

0.75L bottle, almost no head and what there is dissapears rather quickly. Murky dark brown colour with some redish and orangey hues at the bottom of the glass. Fruity aroma consisting of melon, plum, and a touch of banana. Flavours of dark dense sweetish bread, brown sugar and just a touch of melon and prunes. Creamy mouthfeel and a bread dominated sourish aftertaste.

Beautiful cherry amber color with a small beige head. The aroma was what really caught our attention - try swirling the contents of the glass at various intervals of the experience. Absolutely no bitterness - creamy mouthfeel...like drinking bananas foster in a glass.

Pours a hazy brown with a modest head with decent retention. Aroma is dark and fruity, overripe banana. Tastes astringent and surprisingly hoppy, more overripe fruit, very assertive flavour. Slightly creamy body, minimal carbonation. Tasty!

Bottle. Pours very dark for a belgium like coffee and a small head. Smells like ripe bananas and carmel. Tastes like ripe fermented dark fruit, like prunes, raisins, cherries, sub-tropical fruits and some hops. Some spicy notes and citrus are hinted. A little taste of roasted sugars or carmel is very present in the aftertaste. Very sticky mouthfeel.
