pours a cloudy reddish brown, some light brown fizzy head, very little lacing (at least on this westmalle goblet) aroma is lots of caramel, some apple, ripe fruit, and brown sugar, maybe a hint of metal sweet flavor, but not cloying, not as fruity as you would expect nice medium-bodied texture but little to no finish

Bottle whilst watching Profondo Rosso. I liked this beer a lot. It has a great aroma and flavor of malt, with strong apple cider undertones, and a hint of brown sugar. I would almost say it’s a dessert beer, which I shall certainly buy more of.

Pours a dark brown with large froathy offwhite head. Aroma is toasted caramel and figs. Flavor sweet and dark cherries, bit too over the top sweetness, but decent. Medium mouthfeel.

11.2 ounce bottle from Wine Warehouse in Charlottesville, VA. Pours a deep, dark reddish brown color with a huge head, good head retention and average lacing. tart and malty aroma with brown sugar, cherry and yeast notes. Taste is very similar... toffeish malts, cherries and some light chocolate. Medium bodied.

Bottle. Pours to a deep copper with a small tan head. Smells of sour cherries, apple, banana, and some fresh cut grass. On the palate this is smooth and lightly carbonated. Tart and slightly citric with a yeasty mid-palate. The cherries definitely come through towards the end. Smooth, tart finish. Excellent beer.
