| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 30, 2008 Huge billowy light brown head that fizzles away quickly, leaves no lacing on the concave edges of my snifter. Solid, dark amber brown color. Sweet malty aroma or fruits and corriander. Taste is more spicy than sweet with a malty aftertaste, and a light airyness to its alcoholic hints. Mouthfeel almost reminds me of a pilsener, but once it hits the back of the tongue you experience a lovely transition to Belgian goodness. Sweet on the lips. Delightful. MuttyD (93), Cambridge, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jul 27, 2008 Bottle. Moderate malt aromas of nutty, roasted and molasses, light herbs for the hops, moderate leather and light musty for the yeast, with cherry, wine nutmeg and apricot in the background and wood and vanilla on the second pour. Head is huge, frothy, white with good lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is burgandy and it has fairlt large particles swimming about. Flavor starts lightly sweet and acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and moderately bitter. Palate is medium, oily and has a lively carbonation. It finishes metalic and has a moderate alcoholic and astringent feel. Unique in the fact that the roasty malt balanced well with the yeast component. ChainGangGuy (2588), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 26, 2008 Appearance: Pours a rich, brown body with a small, creamy-looking, white head.
Smell: Aroma smelling of toasted biscuits, caramel, a bowlful of candy, and a rather juicy fruitiness.
Taste: Sweet toasty, even bready maltiness with a taste of caramel. Dark candi sugar sweetness present. There’s even a little bit of chocolate. Again, it has a prevailing fruitiness with flavors of lightly tart cherries and raisins. Hint of spice. Finishes sweet and cakey with a definite warming alcohol presence.
Mouthfeel: Medium-plus body. Medium carbonation that’s a bit prickly.
Drinkability: Fairly enjoyable. Another delightful member of the Delirium Family. dpjuart (670), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 22, 2008 33 cl bottle. Pours clear, brown with cherry hues and a light khaki head, two fingers in the Tremens glass, dissipating to a half a finger. Nose is fruity, cherry and raisin, slight clove and allspice with a touch of alcohol. Taste is sweet caramel with raisin and cherry, with spicy notes of clove and coriander. Dry finish with some hop bitterness that’s overtaken by alcohol flavor and heat, the latter of which lingers well into the after. Decent BSA. BoBoChamp (1385), Gent, Belgium

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 18/20 | Jul 18, 2008 Pours dark brown, with a thick head and a big fruity aroma. Flavor is sweet malts in the front, raisins in the middle and a bit of a lingering finish. Hardly any hop profile. A definite one to pick up.
