| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Nov 9, 2007 33cl bottle. Pours a cloudy brown with auburn highlights and a medium-sized tan head - leaves lots of lace on the glass. The aroma is strong with alcohol along with caramel and soft fruit. The aroma also has a hint of corn-syrup-sweetened chocolate (like a Tootsie Roll). The flavor starts dry and peppery with waves of dry cocoa and toffee slowly rolling in. The middle of the tongue tastes a bit astringent with alcohol - peppery bitter hops combined with caramel and malts. The finish is dry and strong with some more cocoa. The mouthfeel is lively and highly carbonated - and also quite light in body for the strength. Overall, interesting and decent, but not awesome. keith0718 (160), Olathe, Kansas, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Nov 5, 2007 I picked this up because there was some article attached to it in the store calling it the best beer in the world. Not the best, but one of my more favorite beligians. Dedollewaitor (3764), Odense, Denmark
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Nov 5, 2007 Dark brown with a creamy white lasting head. Nuts, malts & dried fruits. Good mouthfeel. Very pleasant. Perhaps a commercialized beer, but quite nice! ubamartian (155), Watertown, Wisconsin, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 15/20 | Nov 4, 2007 Bottle. Pours deep red-brown color, with a creamy thick, off white head. Leaves good lacing. Aromas of Cherry and Yeast, along with malts and plums to create a very good complex fragrance. The first sip is first cheery and dark fruits, followed by the yeasts and malts to combine into an almost cherry muffin flavor. The feeling is smooth, not too bubbly. The finish is dry, with a lingering cherry and yeast. Delicious. I will be stocking this one.

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Nov 3, 2007 bottle at Taco Mac. A decent belgian strong... pours a brown color with average head. aromas of malts and mild fruits. Some carbonation on the palate, however not as strong as I would have liked for this style. The finish is a bit weak on this one and leaves the mouth wanting a bit more. Medium in body and a nice overall flavor. I’m glad I tried this beer, however I don’t believe it lives up to the hype and intriguing packaging. fro2218 (466), Atlanta, Georgia, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 29, 2007 From 11.2 oz ceramic bottle- poured semi-transparent very dark ruby brown, nice formation of off white head. Aroma of malt and yeast. Hits the mouth with weak chocolate body, notes of fruit and caramel apparent, finish slightly dry. Carbonation is very apparent in taste and sight. Alot better than the other I had by them, but still nothing to go crazy about.
