stobbe74 (655), Denmark May 8, 2009 Bottle, 33cl. Pours a clear nutbrown beer, almost without head. The aroma is sweetness and raisin, notes of alcohol. The flavor follows the nose. The palate is a little sharp from the alcohol, but else it has a smooth feel. Overall an exciting beer with complex sides. Pullo on harvinaisen jouluhenkinen.
Can’t bother to translate that. A good xmas beer for what it is worth. MaltDawg (778), Richmond, Virginia, USA Mar 27, 2009 (Sample Date: 12/9/2008 Source:Capital Ale House - Downtown) Aroma of spices, caramelized sugar, and dark fruits. Clear dark amber golden. Malt accentuated flavor with spicy Belgian yeast and hop character. Nice alcohol warming. weaselkenievil (738), Cheshire, England Mar 19, 2009 Bottle. Got the usual Delirium lick which I do really like but feel a little let down by this. As sugary as an old school wham bar but was expecting a little more Christmas. Maybe an elf thrown in, reindeer droppings, fruit and spice perhaps. I did like it, just a little too similar to the D Nocturnum. No bad thing just feel like I’ve gone for waz and the phone has rang right at the crucial moment. kevd193213 (477), Hope Valley, Rhode Island, USA Mar 17, 2009 Bottle. Copper, slighly cloudy pour with a brown tinge and a medium white head. Aroma of apples, plums and caramel. Taste has some nice holiday spices, malt, caramel and yeast with a nice finish. Really complex but drinkable. IPAGargoyleGuy (139), Troy, NY, New York, USA Mar 13, 2009 I liked this one very much. Hops show through a bit more than the other Delirium’s. Figs and apples with a nice warming finish. Slight spice. nathan30533 (138), Dahlonega, Georgia, USA Mar 9, 2009 Lovely brew. Good color almost an autum orange. Good feel, not to much. Not to much spice. Great smell like a belgiam would. Great brew. dalekliz (546), San Diego, California, USA Feb 17, 2009 Bottle. Pours a clear dark amber-red with a thick, off-white head. Big aroma, of malt, spices, hops, pine, and dark fruits. Spicy taste, with malt, dark fruits, pine. Lingering sweet spiciness. Very tasty.
