Pours a cloudy reddish brown with a short off-white head. Dense aroma of malt, cherries, corriander, and dried fruit. Pleasant, velvet mouthfeel. Smooth flavors of candi sugar, malt, nutmeg/cinnamon spice, and alcohol. Definietly a winter warmer.

To tell you the truth.....a little disappointed. Has a little too much of a lambic taste for me. Not what I was expecting.

Outstanding. Simply outstanding. It’s only a shame that it’s hard to find this beer off season. It reminds me a lot of Rochefort Trappistes 10, only considerably cheaper (and it’s not cheap).

33 cL coated bottle (Delirium Christmas). Pours reddish, unfiltered with lots of sediment floating around and small, yet dense off-white head. Aroma is quite fruity, seems to hold some berry at first, followed by dried fruits and some yeasty complexity. I sense some woody notes too. Quite sharp flavour at first, spiced and with an alcohol edge. For every sip it goes slight more mellow providing a more balanced feel and flavour of cinnamon, slight citric notes, roasted malt, sugar and a warming alcohol finish and body. Nice.

Bottle @ Delirium Cafe, Brussels. Dark amber colour with small head. Aroma is hoppy with fruity edge / coriander / spices. Taste is light with some citrus / spice and slight alcohol. Beware of sediment.

Surprized I haven’t rated this yet. Sample given from a random friend at Churchill’s pub. Cloudy red orange. Strong banana notes in the smell. Maybe a hint of diacetyl. Fairly nice beer.

2006 bottle. very nice dark amber on the pour with a tiny head that hung out the whole time i drank my glass. smelled of hops and fruit. actually very light on the palate with a strong alcohol taste that didn’t really overpower too much.

Bottle, dark reddish color, lots of head. A bit less flavor than tremens, but with more alcohol. Great to try but not as good as tremens.
