saxo (3510), Højbjerg, Aarhus, Denmark Mar 17, 2007 Bottle. Medium head with short duration. Color is clear amber, but with lots of sediments floating around. Aroma is rich and powerfull with fruits and spices. Taste is likewise. valpoaj (362), Valparaiso, Indiana, USA Mar 9, 2007 Orangey brown pour with a quickly dissolving bubbly head. Nice, intriguing aroma is somewhat spicy with light fruit accents. Flavor is unique...and that makes it hard to compare. Definite hints of apples and raisins, and the alcohol is somewhat evident late on the palate. Palate is somewhat high on the carbonation side, but this beer was one of the more original I’ve had in some time, and quite good on that note! I would definitely seek this one out again! Pretty sweet label to boot... Jwasciuk (194), Lowell, Michigan, USA Mar 6, 2007 Pours clear medium amber with a large fizzy head. Aroma is heavily malty of bread and cookies, lightly hoppy and heavily yeasty, prunes, apples and pears. Flavor is well balanced, apples, and champagine and finished slightly more bitter. Medium bodied watery and creamy, livley co2 and a bit of alcohol in the finish. Beltramelli (471), Campinas, Brazil Mar 5, 2007 Here in Brazil this beer is named Delirium Christmas. Bitter, sweet and lightly salty at the same time. Dark amber coloration. Notes of smoking and red fruits. Good cream, of beige coloration. Average carbonation. Medium apparent alcohol.
jellybeanriot (27), Columbia, Missouri, USA Mar 3, 2007 This is definitely one of the best beers I’ve ever tried. Spicy, sweet, fruity, warming, alcoholic - everything you could want in a Christmas beer. Highly recommended. jalichio999 (502), Brazil Feb 28, 2007 Updated: Sep 3, 2008Amarga, adocicada e levemente salgada ao mesmo tempo. Coloração âmbar escura. Notas de defumação e de frutas vermelhas. Bom creme, de coloração bege. Carbonatação média. Álcool medianamente aparente. Ibrew2or3 (2714), Safety Harbor, Florida, USA Feb 2, 2007 The 11.2oz bottle poured a clear copper color with thin layer of off white foam. The aroma is a bit light with a medley of fruit such as cherries, dates and raisins along with some spice and hints of alcohol. The flavor follows the aroma somewhat with up front fruitiness from raisins and cherries. Beyond midway a more tart fruit note surfaces tasting like apple and grapes. The flavor is rounded out with the help of coriander spice and pepper. GaltScat (195), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA Feb 1, 2007 25 ounce bottle from 2005. Amber with giant white head. Aroma of yeast, malt, fruit, and spice. Taste was similar to any good Belgian Strong Ale with added, nicely mixed spice. Alcohol is present on the palate but not overwhelming. Some bitterness and spice on the finish and warmth on the way down the gullet. Delirium Noel is rather mellow and smooth for a Belgian Strong Ale and it is very nicely completed.
