Bottle. Dark brown beer with a strong bubbly head. The aroma is light sweet fruits and the flavour is quite sweet, lightly rich and slightly vinous. Overall quite a nice gentle tasting beer.

Bottle: Amber body, with limited head. Aroma was a combination of tart and sour that strongly reminded me of apple cider, with slight graham cracker and cherry notes in the aroma. Grape-sweetness at fist, then black current and cream mixes in with a sour-maltyness. Good complexity so far. Then I swallowed, and it all seemed to go to hell. The taste reminded me somewhat of bile, which is a very easy way to ruin a good drinking experience. I hope that was just a bad bottle.

Appearance: Pours a murky orange/copper with a 3 finger off-white head that dissipates very slowly, leaving lacing all around the edge of my glass. Smell: Sweet fruit malts and spices with just a small hint of alcohol. Taste: The taste follows the nose pretty closely. This starts out sweet, fruity, and candy like, with a decent amount of spicyness. Alcohol is present, especially as it approaches room temperature. Mouthfeel: Light/medium body with some carbonation. Drinkability: 2 of these small bottles would be more than enough, especially at 10% ABV. This should be sipped, and consumed over a time of an hour or two. Very well balanced. I will most certainly look for this one again next year!

750 ml bottle. Golden red body with a medium beige head. Sweet malty, spicy and some yeast in aroma. Sweet flavor, some alcohol, malt and fruit. Nice, complex but somehow not the most balanced beer around. Nevermind, it gave me some Christmas feeling.

] The color is a clear deep copper with just enough cream-colored foam to cover the surface of the beer. The head then recedes to just a ring, which produces moderate lacing. There is a medium maltiness in tha aroma, with some toffee and a definate strong alcohol scent. The flavor is sweeter than the aroma suggests, with more toffee, dry stone fruit, and raisin. A mild spicy presence rounds out the finish, I’m guessing a combination of spices, hops, and the yeast produce the effect.. The body is medium, with very gentle carbonation. I would have liked more dark malt flavor. Alcohol is prominent in the aftertaste.
