Smells like citrus and grape with just a hint of banana. Tastes like citrus, apple, and grape, with hints of what tastes like banana. Fairly crisp and dry on the finish with a little alcohol flavor and warming. On the lighter side of medium-bodied. Pleasant, but not sure something I’d get again. There are beers that are cheeper and just as good. adwoan99 (244), Ft. Worth, Texas, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 5/5 | 14/20 | Dec 18, 2006 Pours a dark, murky brown with lots of sediment. Very light head. Aroma is very bready Thought it was a "christmas" ale ("noel") but not as spicy as I’d expected. Other than that, pretty good example of a belgium ale. Malty, yeasty, high abv is slightly noticeable. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 17, 2006 Pours a nice ruby color with thick head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is belgian yeast, fruit with a bit of spice. The taste is very light and fruity and very enjoyable. The alcohol is very well masked. This is a very good BSA and I would definitely buy this again. undsioux7 (555), Cologne, Minnesota, USA

I thought it was a smooth and fruity beer and enjoyed it. Pours a caramel color thats a bit hazy. has an off-white head, lasted for a while. not an extremely aromatic beer, but has a fruity scent with mostly apple and a bit of cinnamon. has a strong alcohol finish with a skightly sour after taste. definately worth a try.
