SHIG (2012), Aviano, Italy Dec 16, 2006 Bottle: Pored an amberish brown with a off white head. Spicy fruit aroma with a melow ton of hops. Bitter at first but developed into a burnt spicy after taste. JohnC (2227), Mission Viejo, California, USA Dec 15, 2006 I had this beer at a bevmo tasting in Laguna Niguel, California. I think that the pink elephants on the bottle are cool
I thought it was a smooth and fruity beer and enjoyed it. UCLAtoucan (6), Los Angeles, California, USA does not count Dec 15, 2006 Whole Foods Bottle 2006. Pours a caramel color thats a bit hazy. has an off-white head, lasted for a while. not an extremely aromatic beer, but has a fruity scent with mostly apple and a bit of cinnamon. has a strong alcohol finish with a skightly sour after taste. definately worth a try. marcus (1821), Sacramento, California, USA Dec 13, 2006 2003 75cl bottle. This amber ale poured with a decent off-white head, eliciting a strong fruity aroma. The flavor, too, is fruity with a caramel malt base and some spicy enhancements. There is an astringent alcohol finish. tykjen (182), Florø, Norway Dec 13, 2006 Quite light color. Alcohol, caramel and spicyness are the main elements, but the alcohol is far too obvious. Could benefit from prolonged storage? PhillyBeer2112 (2084), Orange Park, Florida, USA Dec 12, 2006 A real nice beer! Nicely fruity, with an alcoholic and spicy component. Like brandy-soaked fruitcake, glazed with molasses and caramel syrup. Probably better than that actually, as I’ve never had a fruitcake I liked, but i did like this beer. Easy semi-sweet finish. bager (2121), Copenhagen N, Denmark Dec 12, 2006 Bottled. Amber coloured with a rather large head. Sweet and alcoholic. A bit sharp with notes of caramel, fruits and spices. BigBeer45 (673), Troy, Michigan, USA Dec 11, 2006 2005 edition, 750ml bottle, poured medium red, lots of bubbles, sweet, faint caramel apple, fruity fragrance, candy apple, faint scents of spiced cider, cinnamon, cloves, taste of pepper, light malt, alcohol in the nose, apple, faint brandy, this was nice, beer was a little watery.
