Draught at Delirium cafe Brussels. Deep red and residual head. Fiery, warming alcohol dominates. Some solvent character perhaps detract from an otherwise pleasant experience.

2005 750 ml bottle. Pours a hazy golden brown color with a thick frosty beige head. Aroma is tangy lemon with yeasty hops, sourdough bread and brown sugar. Taste is acidic citrusy with hints of caramel, brown sugar, lemon, dough bread, sour cherries and even bubble gum. Very nice and slightly different than your typical belgium style.

This 18 dollar bottle was well worth it. It has a heavy sweet flavor and a lot of alcohol, but you cannot tell. The bottle is very cool, painted glass.

Red color, vigorous carbonation. Small, off-white head. Bubblegum, cherry, brown sugar, rose, lemon/citrus in both the aroma and taste. Sweet and tart. Enjoyable. Thanks Frizzzzle.

750 ml 2005 bottle brought to a tasting by frizzzzle and shared with csbosox and Indra. Poured a firey copper with a stone colored head. Lots of Brussels lace. Aromas of peach, mint, berries, Juicey Fruit, and some yeast. I caught flaovrs of smoke(?) cherry, some citrus, sugars and tartness. Really nice on the palate. Nice drink.

Pours a brightish red color, clear, with a medium, fine, light tan head. Lacing is very smooth and thorough throughout the drink. Flavor is predominantly sweet, with cherry notes. Mouthfeel is prickly, with a bit more carbonation than I’m used to. This beer has a nice, strong flavor, with a relatively dry flavor.

Bottle. Nutty brown color with an off-white head. Malty, caramely head, with spices and yeast. Some vanilla, oaky, and bourbon notes. Metallic. Overly sweet, slightly acidic, oranges, apples. I’m not impressed. Leaves and artificial sweetener aftertaste. Not horrible, but I don’t like it.
