gputty (456), Virgina Beach, Virginia, USA Feb 26, 2006 From bottle. Poured an orange brown with tan head. Nose has a huge prune aroma with some spices and banana as well. Body is over carbonated though and only a thin rendition of the nose. Alcohol is noticeable. ABUSEDGOAT (1934), California, USA Feb 25, 2006 Tap: amber body. Aroma is SMOKE with notes of caramel and spices. Flavor is the same, tasty. Best pink elephant beer I’ve had. Interesting, balanced and drinkable. sersdf (1000), chicago, Illinois, USA Feb 14, 2006 not a huge belgian fan, but even as those go i don’t think this was quite as good as the others i’ve had. i’m not a huge fan of the fake ceramic look for the bottle either. anyways, i liked the texture, but the flavor just wasn’t cutting it spinnyone22 (4), Payson, Arizona, USA does not count Feb 13, 2006 I really liked this beer. Large head but very flavorful. The lemon-orange taste is very distinct. Good aroma. A good treat for christmas. LilKem (1210), Marietta, Ohio, USA Feb 7, 2006 My roommate from New York sent this to me, and I really enjyed it. It was clean, refreshing, and full of body. The aroma was very light and clean as well. Some lemon, some brown sugar, carmel, and some lighter fruits. Interesting for a Christmas beer. The flavor reflected much of the aromas, with a full body. KarmanGhia (276), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Feb 5, 2006 This pours a dark, syrupy ruby with a strong, off-white, and long-lasting head. The nose is of alcohol and sugar. This beer is likewise too syrupy and sugary at first tast, but the spice adds texture to the palate and makes this a worthwhile try. however, if you are not into the sweet, super-fermented style, then this will just be a super-perdictable and super-booring brew. maeib (4677), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England Feb 4, 2006 Bottled. I think Huyghe get a lot of bad press because they brew a huge range of beers, alot of which are decidely dodgy. However I think when they think about it they can do a good job, and the Delirium range prove that. This is a dark reddy brown coloured beer which pours with alarge off-white head, which shrinks down but leaves good lacing. the aroma is yeasty with moussey fruit and peppery spices. The taste is also yeasty. The 10% comes through to a certain extent. There are peppery hops and red fruits. Well brewed with a long tasty finish. FrostyFreebs (4), Plainfield, Illinois, USA does not count Feb 3, 2006 Very good beer not too carbonated(which I like). only destraction was a slight metalic taste at end
