Clear light amber body, huge diminishing off white head. Enormous aroma, malts yeast, caramel, wood, fruits and grains. Sweet bitter taste with a little carbonation. Finish is very alcoholic, sweet light bitter, roasted flavour. Very heavy beer.

Pours a very hazy amber/brown with a thick two finger head that slowly recedes to a nice cap that leaves behind sheets of lacing. Smell; when I first opened the bottle the smell was almost wine like. after I poured it, that winey smell went away. There’s lots of fruits. ripe plums and bananas, caramel apples, as well as cloves. There’s also a bit of alcohol presence in the nose. Taste; really nice ripe plums, a good bit of banana flavor stands out along with a bit of sweet caramel maltiness, and some alcohol bite in the finish. It has the nice yeasty and spiced smells that I’ve come to expect in Belgian style beers. Mouthfeel is medium bodied and smooth, with nice carbonation.

Warning: Do not serve this right from a fridge. We bought it refrigerated so we had to keep it cold, but this tastes pretty terrible cold. It needs to be a little warm. Some of my notes pertain to cold aromas/flavors (the first ones): smells like veggies, spice fruit, tomato, salt water beach. Brown with a lil tan head. a little unpleasantly sour, punchy. alcohol shows through. Let it warm up: it tastes like apple crisp, sweet, smooth, alcohol punch is not ’punchy’ anymore.

33cl Bottle. Poured a deep amber with a large, bubbly head. Smells of fruit (cherries and plums) with a hint of spice. Flavor has a nice amount of fruit and spice with some yeasty goodness. Can’t taste the alcohol at all. Quality brew.

750 ml - 2005 - Aroma is yeasty bubblegum and allspice. Pours a cloudy yellow-brown with a nice fluffy head and decent lacing. Flavor is sweet bread dough, allspice, bubblegum, and other spices. Palate is crisp and clean for 10%. A nice treat on x-mas.

(Bottle 75 cl) Comes as "Delirium Christmas". Slightly hazy, dark amber with a rather tall and handsome head. Spicy nose - of coriander in particular. Good, full, malty body with plenty of spices - coriander and perhaps some cinnamon and allspice too. Quite harmonious and balanced with a sweetness that never gets too dominating. Quite a hoppy finish. 261205

Draft - ruby in color. A beige head that is quickly gone. Big fruity nose - I get a bunch of grape. A fairly still beer - surprisingly little carbonation. Vinuous and fruity flavor. Nice.

Sampled on tap. Amber color with a thick white head. Aroma had banana, cloves, candy apple, lemon, dark fruit and cherrys. Taste was very smooth for the strength. It had some wheat beer characteristics but was more complex. Palate was a bit thin but otherwise this was good.
