fluids (364), USA Dec 11, 2005 Medium head on pours but goes thin quickly. Very bubbly. Yeasty malt aroma and caramel coloring. Spice is at front with caramel malt in back of it mixing with a cheese yeast in a lovely balance. Very unassuming 10% alcohol is very well hidden. Slight warmth at finish. peter (385), Dallas, Texas, USA Dec 11, 2005 This is what a holiday brew is all about. Spicely sweet this beer has execlenct tase and aroma. In one word : "Merry" ಠַಠ (1375), San Francisco, California, USA Dec 10, 2005 Bottle...interestingly, mine was labeled "Delirium Christmas". Not sure if they changed it this year or if this is a Japan thing? Attractively deep ruby-red, big head, nice looking. Floral, crisp and firm aroma. Nice malt profile; bread, strawberry, deeply malty. Excellent thick finish, "I can’t believe it’s 10%". Well done! HighGravity (890), Baltimore, Maryland, USA Dec 9, 2005 Besides the silly label this is a solid winter beer. A good balance of spice and sugar. Will satisfy you on a cold night. Mads Langtved (2246), Copenhagen K, Denmark Dec 9, 2005 Amber appearance. Big white head. Very fruity aroma. Flavour is sour and metallic. Huge amounts of yeast in the finish. Not a pleasant beer. Too sticky and too sweet. heemer77 (4294), Savannah, Missouri, USA Dec 7, 2005 New arrival in Iowa. The body is a medium red that is also kind liek copper. The head dies down quickly and was slightly off white with some khaki coloring. The aroa is really boozy with some toffee and a little bit of ginger. There is also a hint of hard cinnamon candy. The taste is rich with some fruity cherries and a little bit of cinnamon. There is also a hint of plums. Highly carbonated moutfeel that is almost too sharp. A nice Christmas brew. mephisto (1144), Taiwan Dec 6, 2005 amber color with a huge brown head that quickly disappears. fruity, malty aroma with a hint of sweet spice. alcohol is present but not overwhelming. full bodied. Cable (286), SE, Oklahoma, USA Dec 5, 2005 Sampled from bottle. Pours clear, dark brown with a ruby tint. Head is scattered and off-white. Aroma is ripe dark fruit with some leather and pepper. Flavor is just on the sweet side of balanced, vinous with some wood, alcohol, and plum. Full-bodied, warming and well-carbonated. An enjoyable beer to sip.
