Sweet to taste, Reddish brown color. The head dissapated qiuicker than I thought it would. the alcohol wasn’t over-bearing. Lot of floaties in it. Sweet tasting.I bought two, will taste the second one next Christmas Holiday.

Medium brown to a reddish hue with a foamy tan head. It is oddly calm when it comes to the carbonation. A below average appearance for a belgium style. A candied malt aroma with a touch of fruity raisin it can be ultimately summed up as a caramel apple aroma. A slight season of hops puts an end to the candy cornucopia. The tase is exceedingly sweet like corn syrup and not enough spice, hops, or alcohol heat to lighten up the taste. Because the carbonation is lacking the palate is too thick on the tongue leaving a sugar aftertaste. Not the cleverest belgium strong ale Ive had. It takes more than a cute elephant label and a funny name to become a classic.

Hazy, blood-orange, rich copper-amber color with lots of swimming yeast pieces. Small, good lacing creamy head. Sweet rich fruity, complex aroma. Reminiscent of strawberry candies with grapes, plums. Very sweet candiness/fruitiness dominate in the flavor. Rich caramel, molasses notes are also in inside. Very pleasant smooth mouthfeel with a touch of liqueur warming in the finish. Medium to full bodied, oily texture. Smooth carbonation.

Hazy brown to copper, small off-white head. Aroma of caramel, Belgian sugar, dark fruits and spice. Taste of dark fruits, Belgian and brown sugars, yeast and some zesty spices. I liked this one more than Tremens and would buy it again.

0.33 l bottle from Alko. Dark amber color with quickly vanishing head. Sweetish, caramelly and fruity aroma with tart fruitiness, grapefruit, figs, sharp alcohol and hints of solvent. Sweetish caramelly, tart and nutty flavor with sharp alcohol. Too boozy and sharp with overload or caramel.

330mL bottle from Regional. Pours deep red orange with an off white head. I found the aroma to be full of boysenberries coming through a base of spices and vanilla. Berry fruits come though in the flavour also. Spiced background flavours, reminds me of a Christmas mince tart. Not a hint of alcohol which is quite a feat considering its ABV. The finish is fruity, medium length.
