Nice white bottle. Honey aroma with touch of clove. Amber pour. This is a hoppy Belgique brew with touches of caramel and pine. Another fine ale from Delirium.

Bottle. Amber, cloudy body with a fizzy, off-white head, mostly diminishing. The aroma is sweet and fruity with notes of raisin, peach and apriocot. Hints of caramel and flowers with a slight note of mold. The flavor is heavily sweet and lightly bitter. The finish is moderately sweet, lightly bitter and alcoholic. Medium body with a smooth texture, though a little watery. Lively carbonation. Just OK.

750ml bottle - Pours brown with a big tan head. The yeast gives the aroma a nice fruit character and the malt comes in with some caramel accents. The flavor is sweet, nutty, and enhanced by dark fruit notes. It’s medium bodied and that 10% abv makes for some guaranteed winter warmth. Nice beer.

Appearance: Pours a clear, reddish-brown body with a thinnish, wispy, off-white head. Smell: A chiefly fruity nose, smelling of brandy-soaked dried fruits supported by secondary notes of light brown sugar, caramel, and dull, earthy spices. Taste: Dark maltiness with flavors of nutty caramel and cocoa. Brief burst of sweetness from a handful of candi sugar. Concentrated fruitiness tasting of stewed plums garnished with golden raisins. Splash of brandy. Hint of gingerbread cookies. Touch of warming alcohol in the dry finish. Very slight lingering of spices in the aftertaste. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium, though somewhat lively carbonation. Drinkability: By no means my favorite, but it’s still a fitting, well-balanced choice for your holiday drinking. I’ll give it that much. It is, after all, the holiday season!

11.2oz bottle: Rustic copper pour with a bubbly head that fades. Both the aroma and body come to life as the beer really hits room temp. Biscuity with layers of caramel and toffee beneath. Some nice esthers play off the sweetness, mostly apple and pear. Surprisingly thin on first pour, the malts really start to jive at room temp. The yeast seems a little too subdued for the malt onslaught.

2008 Bottle. Faint aroma that seemed unbalanced and...fizzy? Appeared beautiful amber brown with light cream lacing. Tastes well, very balanced palate, with hints of chocolate and rye. Very enjoyable beer...this brewery simply does not make a poor product.

Good, sweet and strong x-mas beer. Wonderful aroma with heavy caramel. Lingering and slightly oily palate. Rich taste. Recommended.

Pours clear, reddish brown, with a large beige head, good lacing. Smells of figs, apple, caramel, molasses, and alcohol. Medium body. Sour apple is the primary flavor, there’s also a metallic edge, and notes of citrus and caramel. Tart aftertaste, almost no bitterness.
