Bottled. Amber coloured with a rather large head. Sweet and alcoholic. A bit sharp with notes of caramel, fruits and spices.

(750 ml. bottle @ The Real Beer Expo - Rochester, NY) Orange/amber in color with a puffy and lasting white head. Aroma is loaded with malts, spices, yeast, caramel, and some plums. Flavor is very smooth and malty with some nice dark fruit flavors and a spicy finish. Very warming, even though the 10% is hidden well. Aftertaste is very dark and malty with some sweetness.

It was a year old bottle. So good. I have had a few of their other beers in the past and they were also good. Copper in color, cloudy. Fruity aroma. Malty. I enjoyed it.

Bottle, 700 ml. Pours clear brown/amber with a lasting tan head. Nose is spicy with lots of sweetish dark malt. The flavor is sweet, mainly malt and fruit (raisins, plums, dates and citrus). Also yeast and alcohol. Medium to full body. Well balanced, slight acidic/bitter finish.

Similiar palate to Hapkin; Explosive and dry. Winey, bubblegum aroma. Fruity, light body, and some subtle bitterness. A lot of fun this was.

A real nice beer! Nicely fruity, with an alcoholic and spicy component. Like brandy-soaked fruitcake, glazed with molasses and caramel syrup. Probably better than that actually, as I’ve never had a fruitcake I liked, but i did like this beer. Easy semi-sweet finish.
