Dec 4, 2009 Bottle from Kegs & Barrels in Plano, TX. Pours a straw yellow with white fizzy head. Aroma of citrus, funk, malt, a little musty. Flavor is nice and funky, some citrus, malty. Mouth feel is light body with high fizzy carbonation. Overall, I really enjoyed this, very tasty!

Nov 18, 2005 Beautiful clear mahogany with a medium off-white head. Aroma of spiciness, yeast, banana, dark fruits and floral hops. Flavor has notes of cherry, plum, raisin, caramel/toastiness, banana, orange peel, lemon/citrus and noble hops. Pleasantly sweet, has ample hop bitterness to balance everything out. Full and round body with very lively, spritzy carbonation. Quite enjoyable.

Dec 20, 2005 A pretty beer: Golden brown colour with a lasting, tanned head. Spicy aroma. Cinnamon and other spices in the taste. An unvaried aftertaste where you notice the alcohol.

Dec 14, 2009 750 MP cork and caged bottle. Pours a deep amber brown with a smaller foamy beige head. Aroma was fruity, dates, candi sugar, dates, yeast. Flavor of sugar and fruit, raisin, dates and brown bread. Pretty good stuff but this one will kick your ass with such a well hidden ABV.

Dec 21, 2009 Bottle courtesy of Fratto. I shot the cork into the ceiling. Very clear orange pour with a bubbly pour. Sweet smell with clay and sweetbread. Nice sweet malts. Sweet flavor as well. Nice earthy malt flavor that tastes of sweet spice. Fairly smooth finish with a sweet laced finish.

Jan 13, 2007 750ml bottle, 2004. 2 years old. Orange/amber pour with floaties and a white creamy head. Aroma is fruity and slightly sour. First taste reveals the nutty, spicy character. The alcohol is noticeable but hardly dominant. A very nice spiced up Christmas sipper.

Jan 1, 2009 Enjoyed on New Years Eve ’08. Pour is a medium brown semi opaque with a small tan head. The aroma is pleasant and big being full of fruit, alcohol, funk, licorice, and yeast. Flavor is similar with some spice. Smooth feel. Was surprised to find this had 10% alcohol.
