Bottle. Brownish / amber pour with lots of malt particles and a thin off-white head. Very sweet aroma; candy sugar, raisens, lightly spiced and nutty. The palate is creamy. Flavor is a little odd, lots of spices up front, with dark fruit, and malt; then it sort of transforms into a spicy juice-like substance with some hops and cinnamon. Lots of flavors, but they don’t work well together and provide for an odd tasting experience.

Poured a reddish brown color with a very small off white head. Aroma was of dark fruits, some spices, and yeast. Flavor was very yeasty and had a lot of spices, very reminiscent of a winter warmer, and also the added fruitness of the other Deliriums.

Spicy and peppery nose with a touch of fruit and nots. Somewhat acidic and candied palate with dark fruits and cookie notes. Medium head retention with good lacing. Candy sugar prominence with a touch of sea salt on the palate.

750 ml - 2005 - Aroma is yeasty bubblegum and allspice. Pours a cloudy yellow-brown with a nice fluffy head and decent lacing. Flavor is sweet bread dough, allspice, bubblegum, and other spices. Palate is crisp and clean for 10%. A nice treat on x-mas.

Translusent, bronze with a moderate white head. Aroma of cherry and alcohol. Flavor is sweet and fruity(did I mention cherries) and dry. There is no syrupy stickness here, but it does have an average body for the style. I guess I was expecting lots of Dark Belgian candi sugar and yeast(there was some yeast favors too), this was a pleasant surprise.

Wanted something decent for my 300th listing. Can’t say this is all my Christmases coming at once but it’s a reasonably satisfying winter warmer. Poured the colour of Christmas pud, with a monstrous pillowy head that took an eternity to settle. Aroma of cloves, sultanas, figs - and yes, some Christmas pudding. Firm, syrupy body. Oodles of sweet dark malt up front, raisins, peppery alcohol and chocolate orange. The finish is all about warming alcohol, rather than hops but that’s hardly surprising, given the abv. It’s a touch too sweet and the alcohol is a little unintegrated. By the end of the bottle I had that Christmas Day feeling - I’ve had too much alcohol and sugar. (Bottle, branded "Delirium Christmas", best before Sep 2006)

malty aroma with mainly fruit notes. which was mainly banana with a slight hint of alcohol. flavour was mostly malts bread-fruit-alcohol. A nice warm feel to it. Poured a brown color with a small off-white head which faded down to a barley nothing. good.
