A hazy dark red colored beer, with a small beige head. The aroma is fruity sweet, cherries, raisins, with malts and a little hop. hints of spices. The taste is bittersweet. The flavor of fruits like cherries and peaches. There are hops with notes of caramel. At the aftertaste there are hints of alcohol with some bittersweet.

nowelllnowellnowellnowelll rum nutmeg sherry alcohol aroma like a xmas cake predictably but like an oxidised one. flat and headless brown and clear. disappointingly thin in the mouth, not much in the flavour apart from brown sugar and a few cake spices. quickly wraps up to a very dry finish but the dryness doesn’t leave much behind.

Purchased @ Ashur Liquor down in the Imperial zona. 750 ml bottle consumed August 2007. I was surprised to see this none the lease since I had never seen it before. I assume this has had some shelf life aged on it but to not to bad because of painted bottle. Anyways, the ale sits gently in the glass as a burnt red with plenty of sediment floating. The head is a lively thick topping at first but will diminish to a naked liquid. Aroma has a big malt profile with strong presence of authentic yeast. The flavor has started to go flat a bit but it will also hold a nice spice and heat.

Robe rouge aux reflets palpables. Mousse beige épaisse qui s’estompe. Arômes de caramel, de compote de pomme et de rhubarbe. Saveurs de métal, de liège et de sucre.

Light brown pour with a small off-white head. Spicy nose and a wonderfully rich dark peppery flavor. Thick mouthfeel and a warm, alcoholic finish. Very nice.

(Tap) Pours a hazy reddish brown color with almost no head. Light dusty aroma includes some spice... maybe clove or allspice... and light hops. Interesting taste incorporates the spice and some vanilla notes with dark fruit as well. I caught some apple notes, yeast notes, and lots of candy sugar as well. Above average mouthfeel with fine carbonation. I couldn’t drink this on a daily basis, but I think it’s an exceptional beer overall.

On tap at the Brick Store poured into a Delirium snifter. Pours a deep clear copper with a big creamy tan head that shows great retention and lots of lacing. The aroma is dominated by candi sugar with lots of dark fruits on top - plums and raisins maybe. The taste doesnt venture far from the aroma with tons of fruits on top of a candi sugar base. The mouthfeel is sticky with the fruits and sugar and definitely starts to have an alcohol presence as it warms. This is a very nice Belgian dark with the sugar and fruit sweetness really dominating throughout.

Delirium Christmas, 0,75l bottle. Bottled 2004, bb dec 2006. Fruity aroma of strawberries, peach and red grapes. Oaky. Looks orange, a bit hazy, with a long-lasting peach-coloured head. Extremely fruity, oak and portwine flavours. Nice thick foamyness and long finish.
