Mar 10, 2003 2001 Bottle: Pours a dark amber color with a small, lingering tan head. Strong, bready aroma of malt, yeast, and spice with a touch of alcohol in the background. Full bodied with low carbonation, the flavor is very malty sweet with some spiciness and yeast tones. The finish is lingering and sweet. The alcohol is well hidden, except for a slight warming quality in the gut. Excellent.

Dec 6, 2007 Pours a ark blush color with a foamy head that dissipates into a lacing that lasts. Aroma consists mostly of cherries, honey and alcohol. Smooth creamy cherry taste with a decent alcohol presence and slight peppery finish.

Jan 25, 2008 11.2 oz bottle poured into tulip- poured medium brownish amber, white head quickly dissolved away, medium carbonation. Aroma of yeast with some spices, all of which are very light. Hits the mouth with a medium body, alot of sweetness from fruit on the tongue, finish with a note of alcohol and collapses. I kinda like it, it’s right down the middle on this one for me.

Dec 18, 2008 On tap at Trappeze. Poured amber brown with a slight head. Aroma of spice, malt, fruit, sugar. Spices included clove and cinnamon. Taste was well balanced between sugar sweetness, spice, fruit, caramel malt. Body is nice and full with plenty of carbonation. Very easy drinking. Overall, a very enjoyable brew.

Dec 25, 2009 Bottle as shown. Pours a clear amber with a small off white head that diminishes quickly leaving sticky lacing and a lot of carbonation. The aroma is a sweet fruit with plum and light spice. Medium mouthfeel with a sweet fruit malt with brown sugar and light caramel hiding the alcohol very well making it easy to drink. Enjoyed this one on Christmas 09’
