Featured at "steal the glass" night at Capital ale house in Innsbrooke. Nice reddish brown body with a small white head. Aroma of citrus and apple juice, somewhat like wine. Slightly sweet, faint detection of alcohol. Warms as it goes down, all you need is one sip to be sure that this one will get the job done. A pleasant surprise to say the least. I would definitely get this one again next winter.

Great aroma and a nice pour with a small head. A nice milky appearance. The flavor is malty with a nice smooth finish. A very enjoyable Belgian seasonal!

Here in Brazil this beer is named Delirium Christmas. Bitter, sweet and lightly salty at the same time. Dark amber coloration. Notes of smoking and red fruits. Good cream, of beige coloration. Average carbonation. Medium apparent alcohol.

Hazy, blood-orange, rich copper-amber color with lots of swimming yeast pieces. Small, good lacing creamy head. Sweet rich fruity, complex aroma. Reminiscent of strawberry candies with grapes, plums. Very sweet candiness/fruitiness dominate in the flavor. Rich caramel, molasses notes are also in inside. Very pleasant smooth mouthfeel with a touch of liqueur warming in the finish. Medium to full bodied, oily texture. Smooth carbonation.

11.2 oz bottle. boy would I like to do a vertical tasting with this one and the stille nacht. poured little to zero head with varying size bubbles in the foam. Dark copper color and a subtle hint of red. smell was first prunes then honey and cherries. thick on the palate - the glare off the top of the glass was textured. taste was cherries and toast. thick malty aftertaste.

Deep mahogany amber crytal clear color with a medium frothy light-tan head. Aroma is alcoholic, yeasty and dark dried fruits with a bit of spice and caramel. Flavor is big dark caramelly malts. Well balanced with a bit of spices and come alcoholic notes toward the end as it warms in my mouth.

Bottle from Kegs & Barrels in Plano, TX. Pours a straw yellow with white fizzy head. Aroma of citrus, funk, malt, a little musty. Flavor is nice and funky, some citrus, malty. Mouth feel is light body with high fizzy carbonation. Overall, I really enjoyed this, very tasty!

12oz bottle courtesy of Knightly Spirits. Poured into a trappist glass. Aroma is of spice, malt, dark fruit. Pours very dark with a smallish fluffy head. Taste is very full yet the alcohol is hidden VERY well, this one is very easy to drink despite the 10%. Carbonation is lively but just right. The Flavor has a bit of a malty, yeasty flavor but creamier than the nocturne and not quite as dark. This seems to be much more ABT inspired. I tasted hints of chocolate and cherry in there as well as a cool spice note that made this an appropriate christmas ale. Another terrific offering from Huyghe’s Delirium line. This one is a little to strong to be a mainstay but its great for a winter night. Seems to hit you quite a bit harder than the Tremens or the Nocturne.
