Deep copper with a moderately sized white creamy head. The aroma is heavy on sugar and spices (nutmeg and maybe cinnamon). Notes of candied fruits as well.
Mouthfeel is good, fairly syrupy but nicely yeasty at the end. A clean, surprisingly dry finish.
As GAManiac pointed out, the taste doesnt diverge much from the aroma. Nothing wrong with this.
Really nice holiday beer.

Dec 15, 2006 Whole Foods Bottle 2006. Pours a caramel color thats a bit hazy. has an off-white head, lasted for a while. not an extremely aromatic beer, but has a fruity scent with mostly apple and a bit of cinnamon. has a strong alcohol finish with a skightly sour after taste. definately worth a try.

Dec 31, 2006 Bottle. Poured a murky brown color with very little head. Aroma of citrus and bananas. Taste like any other belgiun ale.

Jan 22, 2007 bottle. pours golden with strong head. pretty and bubbly. nose has an amazing sweetness and bready yeast deliciousness. chewy on the palate with a light dryness. flavor is sweet bread, fantastic. best one in the delirium line.

Jul 17, 2007 Tap @ House of Brews, NYC (December 2006). Pours a nice deep ruby color with a lacy white head. Aroma is spices such as coriander and cinnamon, along with some malt and candy sugar. Taste is highly spicy, and the flavors become increasingly complex as you savor the beer. A wonderful, wonderful Belgian Christmas ale.

Mar 9, 2007 Orangey brown pour with a quickly dissolving bubbly head. Nice, intriguing aroma is somewhat spicy with light fruit accents. Flavor is unique...and that makes it hard to compare. Definite hints of apples and raisins, and the alcohol is somewhat evident late on the palate. Palate is somewhat high on the carbonation side, but this beer was one of the more original I’ve had in some time, and quite good on that note! I would definitely seek this one out again! Pretty sweet label to boot...

Mar 17, 2009 Bottle. Copper, slighly cloudy pour with a brown tinge and a medium white head. Aroma of apples, plums and caramel. Taste has some nice holiday spices, malt, caramel and yeast with a nice finish. Really complex but drinkable.

Nov 16, 2001 Amber color with a big head that leaves plenty of belgium lace on the glass. A cider like aroma and flavor with just a bit of yeast. The high alcohol content is quite well hidden. A great seasonal beer.
