Aroma is moderately sweet, fruity (orange), bubblegum, and spicy. Taste is mildly sweet, fruity (orange and cherry), yeasty, and only slightly alcohol (less than would be expected with 10% ABV). Finishes with slight alcohol burn. Fulkrum78 (165), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA

Beautiful dark beer I liked much more than its Tremens brethren. Light lacing with a rich caramel color. Burst on my palate. Would buy it again! Uglyradio (776), Greenville, South Carolina, USA
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Mar 10, 2003 2001 Bottle: Pours a dark amber color with a small, lingering tan head. Strong, bready aroma of malt, yeast, and spice with a touch of alcohol in the background. Full bodied with low carbonation, the flavor is very malty sweet with some spiciness and yeast tones. The finish is lingering and sweet. The alcohol is well hidden, except for a slight warming quality in the gut. Excellent. mkobes (2104), paramus, New Jersey, USA
