Dec 7, 2005 New arrival in Iowa. The body is a medium red that is also kind liek copper. The head dies down quickly and was slightly off white with some khaki coloring. The aroa is really boozy with some toffee and a little bit of ginger. There is also a hint of hard cinnamon candy. The taste is rich with some fruity cherries and a little bit of cinnamon. There is also a hint of plums. Highly carbonated moutfeel that is almost too sharp. A nice Christmas brew.

Dec 16, 2004 Bottled: Amber coloured. Clear. Dense beige lasting head. Aroma of cocoa, spices and fruit. Flavour is spice and ALCAHOL. Very distinct alcahol. Body is full and quite complex. The beer ends with a delicious alcaholwarmth, that last for quite some time. This is a nice one.

Dec 11, 2004 This brew pours with a slightly cloudy amber body wtih a thick head and a good amount of lacing. The aroma is sweet and malty with nice spicy notes and a little candy sugar. The flavor is slightly sweet and spicy with a malty note and a touch of candy sugar. Full bodied and slightly dry.

Oct 25, 2009 2007 Vintage. Cork "pop" was somewhat subdued but the beer was still well carbonated. Very dark thick amber with a fair soft head. Aroma of candy sugar, caramel and alcohol with some nice spice notes that register later. Tastes just like the aroma. Sweet, light syrup, caramel and soft spice. Just a bit of alcohol burn in the finish.

Dec 7, 2004 Dark amber color with a medium head. Nutmeg and cinnamon laced aroma. Orange flavor with a bit of yeast in the middle. A bit of malt and spices as well. Very nice!
