11.2 oz. bottle split/courtesy of Naka. Pours orange with some haze/floaters. Fruity nose, cherry, orange, plus some bread and caramel malt. Taste is sour cherry, some apple, touch of cider vinegar with a good caramel malt background. No real hops. Alcohol is subdued, there is some warmth there. Good beer. Would definitely have a few more.

Darker golden color. Aroma is of malts, yeast, cloves, and some spices. Taste is similar to typical belgium ales. Alot of yeast and some spices with a hint of pine. A nice and smooth aftertaste. I must admit that I’m not too big of a fan of the Belgium style but this is an excellent brew.

Thanks ilovedarkbeer for this one. Quite nice overall. Aroma of cinnamon, date, vanilla, alcohol, and dark sugar. Pour is a small, frothy, off-white head with fair lacing covering a dark orangee body. Taste is a nice strong Belgian with a salty, yeasty finish. Creamy body with a nice amout of carbonation. Clear alcohol warming on the finish.

Poured from an 11.2oz bottle and served in a tulip. This beer poured a murky brown with a thick head of lasting tan foam. Bubbly lacing covered the inside of the glass. The aroma of the beer was made up of sweet dark fruits, candi sugar, toasted caramel, earthy yeast, and some mild alcohol. The flavor consisted of cherries, red apples, figs, candi sugar, caramel, followed up by a strong, warming alcoholic finish. The mouthfeel was full-bodied and crisp with an adequate amount of lively carbonation. Not mind blowing or terribly complex, but still very tasty.

Bottle poured cranberry red with a large billowy white head. Aromas of malt, sweet caramel, and raisins fill the nose. The palate is creamy and the carbonation is good Flavors of sweet malt and Belgian spices fill my mouth with a nice peppery finish Great bottle art and this thing hides the alcohol well what more could ask for in a Christmas offering

Had this after a 3 day ski trip to Canada. So it seemed much better than it actually was. However, We had a second bottle the next day. It has a light colored head with an slight orange tinge to it. Surprisingly, the alcohol flavor is scarce. There is that spicy freshness present that I associate with Christmas beers. I noted an awful lot of particles floating about, but that was just an appearance related note. The crisp sweetness that dissolves that holiday spice makes this a wonderful beer for the holidays.

Bottle. Pours a nice amber/red color. I am not sure why, but there is a ton of particulates in this beer. Cherries maybe? The aroma is sweet candy canes and cherry. The taste is sweet cherries, apple, spices, some alcohol warmth and a bit of hops. Not bad at all. Merry Christmas.

Poured to a fluted fest glass at Brixie’s Holiday Beer Tasing in Brookfield, IL. The color was a deep, whiskey amber with a modest, off white head, and lace of clingy, translucent spots. The aroma and flavor were very similar notes of malt and fruit sweetness, light caramel and spice, and noticeable alcohol. Good body, and a light syrupy texture contributed to making this a nice holiday warmer.
