Pours a dark amber/ruby with a crazy amount of particulate. Intense aroma of fruits, sugar and malts. Fruity/sweet taste up front to a light hop finish., Hop finish. Booze is well muted. Damn good

Dec 27, 2009 Hazy light brown coloured beer small white head and medium carbonation. Malty fruity aroma with some roasted touches. Medium palate slightly sparkling. Finish is roasted, bitter and sweet. Good one.

Dec 26, 2009 Pours a murky brown with large off white head. Nose is spices, candy sugar, sweet malts. Flavor is crisp malt sweetness, aromatic spices, belgian yeast flavors or clove etc., yeast and bread.

Dec 25, 2009 Tasty beer. redish brown with a small white head. floaties from the bottle sombered the appearance though. plumbs, cherries, and a hint of citrus flavors dominate. hint of caramel with some clove and other spices. smooth and very enjoyable!

Dec 25, 2009 Bottle as shown. Pours a clear amber with a small off white head that diminishes quickly leaving sticky lacing and a lot of carbonation. The aroma is a sweet fruit with plum and light spice. Medium mouthfeel with a sweet fruit malt with brown sugar and light caramel hiding the alcohol very well making it easy to drink. Enjoyed this one on Christmas 09’

Dec 24, 2009 750 ml bottle. 2008 vintage. Aroma is Belgian but very faint. Pours reddish amber with a nice, long-lasting milky-looking head. Lots of sediment. Beautiful looking beer. Tastes very Belgian; strong alcohol presence. Sweet, then bitter. Creamy, full-bodied mouthfeel. Medium carbonation. Excellent beer. Rating would (and should) be higher, but the almost non-existant aroma brought the score down.

Dec 24, 2009 Very nice pour, dark brown with sparse off white foam head. The aroma is earthy and strong. The flavor has barley and a little bit a caramel in there, that’s what I detected anyway. Cheerz to Christmas.
