Commercial Description:
Bottle Conditioned.
Launched on December 26th 1989 @ 9% abv. Abv reduced from 9% to 8.5% in 2003.
The particular character and the unique taste of "Delirium Tremens" result from the use of three different kinds of yeast. Its very original packing, which resembles cologne ceramics, and the colourful label contribute to its success.
In 1997, Stuart A. Kallen nominated Delirium Tremens as "best beer in the world". A gold medal during the "world beer championships" in Chicago (1998) confirmed that worldwide recognition.

From Voldby, Aarhus 160408 Bottled Typical tripel with a high carbination and yeast fruitiness. However they have a syntethic tone

Bottle. Nice pretty golden color with a fluffy white head. Little tiny bubbles rising to the top. Very nice spicy, citrisy nose. Hoppy and yeasty on the palate, with citris notes. I do like this brew.

Very drinkable smooth, though not as smooth as the Nocturnum. Pours golden with a white head, and refreshing.

Small, white bottle (11-12 ounces) with a blue cap. There is a pink elephant on the label that generates fear rather than thirst. I’ll have to ask a psychologist about that choice of label. A big, frothy head and a sinus-clearing aroma. There is sweetness up front, followed by fruits and yeast, and hops close the show. The balance tips to dryness and yeast, but hops and esters are clearly on board too. It almost seems like there is some champagne in here. There is a lot going on, playing on the palate - sweet, sour, bitter, malty. Medium carbonation and a little peat in the finish.

Lightly hazed golden appearance with an average size white head and good lacing. Yeasty aroma overshadows soft fruit and licorice. Spicy flavors dominate before the dried fruit appears followed by a sweet aftertaste. Creamy, medium-bodied, very well carbonated mouthfeel with an unmasked alcohol punch. Sweet, lingeriing finish ending on a slight metallic note.
