HALF GLASS-Good good good. FINISH-This beer was classic belgium in my opinion, behind only Chimay blue for my favorite belgium beers of all time. Drink up, it’s so good! ghawener (967), San Salvador, El Salvador

A solid Belgian Ale, malty with fruity sweetness that hides very well the high ABV. A definite perfect example of the style. A must try for everyone. Best food pairing option: Something spicy, like chicken a la diable. This beer is best as a thirst quencher. drseusszb200 (215), Florida, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 26, 2009 This golden ale poured with a massive white head that began to subside right away. It has a lemon aroma and a yeasty citrus flavor. It’s starts sweet, but the significant yeast action overcomes the malt and produces a dry slightly bitter finish. This is a unique brew that I have consumed many times over the years, and I have just discovered that I never rated it. iamqueensblvd (233), , Iowa, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 23, 2009 Bottle. Pours a cloudy bright golden color with a very large fluffy white head. Aroma of fruit, citrus, and yeast. Flavor is sweet initially then progresses into a slight refreshing bitterness. The finish is marred by an unwelcome alcohol burn. Would be a great beer if not for that. I’ll sit on my other DT for awhile to see what becomes of it. drjay44 (819), Salida, Colorado, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 18, 2009 750 ml. bottle. Before opening the chilled bottle, it was rinsed with water, and placed upright in a large bowl. Upon opening, it happily ejaculated a fairly large portion of its contents into the aforementioned bowl. When poured from the bottle the hugely large head rapidly deflated, leaving a smear of a white head over a golden (SRM 10) cloudy body loaded with floating material....nose was cereal, pineapple bit of clove, bit of lemon.....taste initially is a bit bitter then malt sweetness arrives with apple, pineapple and a bit of barnyard funk, ending with a hop bitter finish....mouth feel is medium, carbonation high (the ejaculated brew was saved and put into the glass later). This is a very good, but not great beer. delnoche (235), Germany
