Commercial Description:
Bottle Conditioned.
Launched on December 26th 1989 @ 9% abv. Abv reduced from 9% to 8.5% in 2003.
The particular character and the unique taste of "Delirium Tremens" result from the use of three different kinds of yeast. Its very original packing, which resembles cologne ceramics, and the colourful label contribute to its success.
In 1997, Stuart A. Kallen nominated Delirium Tremens as "best beer in the world". A gold medal during the "world beer championships" in Chicago (1998) confirmed that worldwide recognition.

This is a Great Bear!~ Had it for the first time about a week ago, and have trying to find a liquor store that carrys it ever since... I highly recommend!

La meilleur bìère au monde avec son goût de miel. Quel délice! Forte mais légère à boire, ce qui est trompeur justement lorsqu’on se lève de sa chaisse. Dégusté lentement, légèrement, en toute fraicheur...

If you need to convince someone of the amazing flavor and beauty of a Belgian Strong Ale, point them to the Delirium. This beer is really fantastic, nice floral notes, good finish, refreshing. Perfect

I’ve always been partial to darker beers until I tried this, By far one of the best beers I’ve ever had. You would never know that it is 8.5 % alcohol.

On tap, currently my favorite beer, tasted side by side with Damnation, (not a good idea, this one won). Not positive at the moment, but generally speaking you can pick up beer from Huyghe at Cost Plus (Nor Cal)

Let me start my beer rating with the best beer I’ve ever tasted. Having it on tap at Monk’s in Philly makes me want to have an IV hook-up. I’ve never tasted beer with such a great aftertaste. The fruity taste just blows me away! John
