Lubiere (3326), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Mar 30, 2008 A golden ale with a thick creamy white head. Huge globulous floaties dance in the beer. A lightly spiced yeasty malt aroma, bready, showing signs of oxydation. In mouth, a good sweetish malt, with notes of coriander, rye, some good hopping, and warming alcohol in final. Medium bodied. Bottle was BB August 2007. Bieropholie import.
GardenGabe (7), Colorado, USA does not count Oct 9, 2008 Slight must, but mostly sour nose. Light, golden straw color.golden, Head persist with prodigious lacing even with large bubbles. Brilliant balance slight bitter though lasting finish. Not at all sweet. A light and fabulous beer with a delicious hop0py (slight but good finish)
nbutler11 (223), Phoenix, Arizona, USA Oct 8, 2008 Pours a hazy orange color from the Yard House tap with a trim white head. Smells and tastes of orange peel, yeast, and a mixture of red and green apples. Seems more preoccupied with alcohol content rather than achieving a balanced flavor. bbrock81 (193), Le Mars, Iowa, USA Oct 4, 2008 Pours a bright golden color, slightly cloudy, with a medium white head. Aroma is citrus, apples, slight malty sweetness. Flavor is fruity, apples again, some cereal malt, and a more hoppy bitterness than I’d expected. Finish is slightly bitter. High carbonation. Not bad, but not worth what it costs, at least for my taste. DrSamPHD (17), Baton Rouge, Louisiana, USA Oct 1, 2008 Am i the only one who thought this tasted like soda (sprite or 7up.) A yeasty fruity aroma that tingled my nose, but the taste was unbalanced. Large bubble head, white. Had it off the tap at Chimes. Not something i would purchase again. mikalooch (31), , New Jersey, USA Sep 28, 2008 Looks like hazy champagne with a frothy white head. Smells of yeast, bread, and citrus. Malt, lemon, and wheat to start, finishes kind of sweet with an undertone of hops. Medium mouthfeel and carbonation, very easy to drink. Above average beer and one that goes well with food.
