yngwie (3762), Kristiansand, Norway Sep 18, 2007 On tap at Berliner Bierfestival. (as Öko-Dunkel) Deep golden brew with a nice, beige head. Malt, caramel and grain in the aroma. The flavor was quite hoppy, with fruit, caramel notes, some grain and a bitterness to balance it. Medium body. It finished with a nice, fruity bitterness. The overall impression of this beer kinda exceeds the aroma and flavor. (070803) MiP (6337), Flensburg, Germany Aug 20, 2007 Draught at BBF07 as Demmert Öko-Dunkel. Hazy brown colour, OK light brown head. Flavour is mildly roasted with medium bitterness. Quite average. jfm (1639), Holbæk, Denmark Jan 5, 2006 Bottle. Amber color with a off white head. The taste is a sweet caramel and malty body with light roasted notes. chriso (4420), London, Greater London, England Dec 3, 2005 Bottle at RBESG grand tasting, August 2005. Attractive reddish copper colour with an off-white head. The diacetyl in the aroma overpowers everything else, and carries on onto the palate. A bit sweet and thick. Difficult to know what this would be like without the butterscotch. I hate diacetyl. Not impressed..
Storm (2685), Amager, Denmark Oct 17, 2005 Sampled at RBESG 2005. Light brun colour. Some grassy and malty aroma. Some buttery and sweet flavour, very tasteful.
